Circumstances: On May 06, 2022 the Redding Police Department received a report of a burglary near the Shasta County Juvenile Hall at 2680 Radio Lane in Redding, CA. During the burglary, 3 Stihl chainsaws, 2 Stihl weed trimmers, 2 Stihl handheld leaf blowers, and 1 Stihl hedge trimmer were stolen. Two white male adults were observed in the area after the burglary occurred.

Circumstances: On Friday evening, June 26th , 2021, at 9:05 P.M., Redding Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim at the apartment complex. Officers arrived at the apartment of occurrence and located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported by ambulance to the Mercy Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The Redding Police Detective Division has assumed the investigation and is actively working on the case. Detectives learned that the victim was involved in a confrontation with a group of men around 9:00 P.M. It is unclear what the confrontation was about. During the altercation, one of the men pulled out a firearm and shot the Victim, subsequently killing him. The group of men fled the location prior to the arrival of police. The suspected shooter is unknown as detectives continue to track down leads.

Circumstances: On Wednesday, 6/9/2021 at approximately 4:43 a.m., the victim, Wally Rogers of Redding, was found deceased in the roadway, near the intersection of S. Bonnyview Rd. and Indianwood Dr. in Redding. He appeared to have been walking in the area, when he was struck by a vehicle and killed. The unknown driver of the vehicle left the scene after striking the victim, and did not report what had occurred.

Circumstances: Anthony Richards was engaged to be married. On 8/19/2020 he dropped his fiancé off at the Sacramento Airport, and was supposed to drive to Eureka to see family before driving to New York to live with his Fiancé. On 8/20/2020 Anthony Richards went to Lake Redding Park Boat Ramp Area for unknown reasons. It is unknown what happened at the boat ramp, but he was never seen or heard from again from any of his family or friends. His disappearance is suspicious.

Circumstances: The Redding Police Department is asking for assistance with locating a missing person. Danielle Renee Bisnell (27 years of age) was reported missing after she left the Redding area in the early morning hours of December 8th , 2019, and travelled to Oregon with an unknown male subject. Bisnell continued talking with family and friends via telephone while in Oregon until the evening hours of December 10th , 2019 at which point all communication stopped. Bisnell has not been seen or heard from since that day.

Circumstances: On the morning of 08-07-13, Scarlett Peterson, who was two and a half years old at the time, was severely abused by an adult. Scarlett’s condition deteriorated throughout the day until she was taken, by ambulance, to Mercy Medical Center. She was later transferred to a Sacramento Area where she ultimately died of her injuries. Scarlett’s death was not accidental. It was the result of intentional abuse by an adult.

Circumstances: On 08/17/2016 at 11:16 P.M., the Redding Police Department was dispatched to the area of 3032 Bechelli Ln. in Redding to investigate a report of possible shots fired in the area. Upon the arrival of officers, Edwin Charles Phillips, 67 years of Redding was located behind a nearby business. He was determined to be a gunshot victim and was subsequently transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
