Circumstances: On 08/17/2016 at 11:16 P.M., the Redding Police Department was dispatched to the area of 3032 Bechelli Ln. in Redding to investigate a report of possible shots fired in the area. Upon the arrival of officers, Edwin Charles Phillips, 67 years of Redding was located behind a nearby business. He was determined to be a gunshot victim and was subsequently transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Circumstances: Around the first weekend of June 2015, Brandon Duvall (AKA: Quinn “Q” Goodman) went missing after an altercation involving gunshots. Duvall has not been heard from or seen since the incident in June 2015. Detectives believe Duvall is deceased and is a victim of a homicide. Duvall’s body has not been located.

Circumstances: On August 11,2015, the body of Charles Boyt (35 years old) was found in the woods in Whitmore, CA. Boyt has been determined to be a victim of homicide. Boyt is from the City of Shasta Lake, CA and was last seen in the City of Shasta Lake on June 7, 2015. The Shasta County Sheriff’s office is requesting information leading to the arrest of involved subjects.

Type of crime: Suspicious/At Risk Missing Juvenile

Up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect(s).

Circumstances: On Thursday July 2nd, 2015, at approximately 5:24 am, Matthew Graham reported his 6 month daughter, Ember Graham, missing from her crib. Ember was reportedly last seen by Matthew, at approximately 11:00 pm Wednesday (July 1). At that time, Matthew said he went to sleep, and awoke the next morning shortly after 5:00 am and found his daughter was no longer inside her crib, and the door to his residence was open.

Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Search and Rescue Team, along with the Child Abduction Response Unit have been tirelessly investigating this case and searching for Ember. The investigation has not identified any suspect information, suspect vehicle information, or other leads as to Ember’s whereabouts. Secret Witness of Shasta County is working with the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office in attempts to gather any further information.

Circumstances: On July 7, 1976, 15 year old Terri Lynn Ray was discovered murdered in Clear Creek near Highway 273. Investigators have reopened the case due to the advances in technology since the murder.
